I nogle skandinaviske storbyer har brugerne af den offentlige trafik taget kampen op for gratis benyttelse af de offentlige trafikmidler. I Stockholm har aktivister dannet en køre-gratis-fagforening, som betaler din bøde, hvis du bliver snuppet uden gyldig billet. Alle kan blive medlem af planka.nu ved at betale en mindre ”forsikringsafgift” til fagforeningskassen. På denne måde slipper man for de dyre takster.
